Dress up.
The theme is black and red.
Go as far as you like. The one thing we ask: make an effort.
This is a night to dress up. We want to see effort: masks, horns, veils, fake blood, gowns, capes, latex, lace, a look you built yourself. Go as far as you like.
Black and red is the theme. The courtyard is black, the tree bleeds, and you are part of the picture – the closer you play to it, the stronger it gets. But it is a theme, not a uniform: a strong look in another colour beats a lazy one in the right one. Vintage, couture, tailoring, or something you made yourself. Overdo it and you will fit right in.
The one thing that does not work is the costume off the rack – doctor, SWAT, superhero, prisoner, anything inflatable. Not because we are precious about it, but because it looks cheap under this tree, and the night is built on the picture.

- Velvet, leather, latex, lace, mesh, silk
- Masks, horns, veils, headpieces, crowns
- Fake blood, glitter, black lips, red eyes
- Tailoring – suits, gowns, robes
- Vintage, couture, or something you made yourself
- Sheer, structured, oversized, barely there
- Go as far as you want – the further, the better
Don't
- Off-the-rack costumes – doctor, SWAT, police, superhero, prisoner
- Anything inflatable
- Pumpkin orange and neon – they flatten the picture
Doors are at 21:00 and we do look – not to turn anyone away over a colour, but because the picture only works if everyone plays.
